Client: Lafarage Surma Cement (Main contractor Larsen & Toubro, ECC Division Of India).
Project Status: Completed.
Year of Completion: 2006
Project Description: Construction of 10 Km Cross- Country Long Belt Conveyor (which is a part of 17.5 km conveyor from Meghalaya in India up to Chhatak in Bangladesh).
The work includes-
survey, piling work ( 1400 nos) construction of pile cap and R.C.C Trestles 10 to 12 m high – 400 nos along the entire route, fabrication and erection of conveyor gallery.
Belt installation, electrical, Works, cladding as well as painting works.
Bangladesh Foundry & Engineering Works LTD (BFEW) has successfully completed the project in the year 2001.
